This is strangely new to me. Being rather set in my ways, conservative in my outlook, and barely past using an abacus, to put views and opinions on a "forum" that I've never done before, for people that I probably don't know' to read and reply to, leaves me very unsure of myself. My grand-daughter has no such worries or inhibitions!
Langley park was a new experience to me about 8 years ago, and has since become an old friend, a place where I can meet and talk to people I may not know, or enjoy my solitude. I hope that perhaps this will enhance my visits to the park

John, don't worry, you managed to post quicker than me. George had to help me log me on and this is my first reply. Not sure if it will work!

I will be starting a couple of threads, one on birds, the other on Park gossip, if i can figure out how to do it.

I have been visiting the park regularly for 19 years and I agree with your sentiments. I love the way it changes with the seasons. summer is not my favourite!

What are other members favourite time of year in the park?

My favourite time of year is Spring, after everthing has looked dead for many months live suddenly happens again. The fresh green on the trees and if the weather is sunny it looks magical coming through the new growth of the trees.
